2. Purpose
Pillarum runs a full search service for occupational pension assets (LPP / 2nd pillar) in Switzerland. The service consists of querying, under a power of attorney signed by the user, all Swiss pension institutions (2nd pillar central office in Berne, vested benefits foundations, active pension funds) in order to identify any assets held in the user's name.
3. Free service and business model
The service is entirely free for individuals, with no commission, file fees or retrocessions. Pillarum is funded through its professional version Pillarum Pro, aimed at wealth managers. No financial product is sold to retail users.
4. Power of attorney
By signing the power of attorney in the chat, the user mandates Pillarum to query pension institutions on their behalf. The electronic signature complies with eIDAS and the Swiss SCSE law. The power of attorney is kept for 10 years. The user can revoke the power of attorney at any time in writing to support@pillarum.ch.
5. Pillarum's commitments
- Carry out the search as quickly as possible (median: 4 to 6 weeks).
- Forward all responses received, without filtering.
- Never receive, handle or divert your assets: pension funds always pay directly into your accounts.
- Keep your data securely and in a compliant way.
- Provide you, at the end of the search, with a clear summary (assets found or "nothing to report" statement).
6. Liability
Pillarum is not responsible for:
- The response times of pension institutions (legal and operational framework).
- The decisions of pension funds (amounts paid, refusals, transfers).
- Errors due to information provided by the user (illegible ID, wrong AVS number).
- Indirect losses or damages related to a delay or absence of response from a fund.
Pillarum's liability, in case of proven fault, is limited to an amount equivalent to the direct damage demonstrated, within the limits set by Swiss law.
7. Intellectual property
The contents of the site (texts, design, code, trademarks) are the exclusive property of Pillarum Sàrl. Any reproduction, in whole or in part, without prior written authorisation is prohibited.

9. Changes
Pillarum reserves the right to amend these terms. The applicable version is the one in force at the time the service is used. In case of major changes, users with an ongoing file are notified by email.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
